Stitching Madness

I have created this photoblog for my cross-stitch projects. It is very motivating to see your work grow from just having a piece of fabric and several colors of threads to a framed piece of "artwork".

I love to stitch and do it almost everyday, even if it is only for half an hour. I always have several works in progress. They are from different designers, different in level of difficulty, small and huge. I don’t rotate according to a plan, because the journey is the reward and I always want to enjoy the little free time I have.

Lynn B posted a great tutorial for a fabric covered box here and I always wanted to try it myself.

My result is far from perfect, I think I made a million mistakes and when my son wanted to help the chaos was perfect LOL. But it’s okay, with a bit practice and a sharp cardboard cutter I’m sure they’ll turn out a lot better in the future.

Still I want to show you my covered box (and please don’t laugh ;))
